The following news items are about the law, approved by Israel’s parliament in 2003, that prevents Palestinian spouses from gaining Israeli citizenship. Israel upholds citizenship bar for Palestinian spouses from the BBC website on 12th January 2012. Lifting ban on Palestinian spouses is “national suicide”: Israel court from the Al-Akhbar website on 19th January 2012.
